The Kamakatar chapel of Vanadzor has been reconstructed and opened. The medieval sanctuary of Saint Sargis has been freed of unnecessary objects and distasteful images, has become larger, cleaner and ready for all the religious ceremonies. The favorite sanctuary of believers and pilgrims has been anointed by Archbishop Sebouh Chouldjian, the Primate of the Diocese of Gougark. Under the leadership of the Primate, the regional priest served the first Holy Mass in the newly anointed tabernacle.
