Two Armenian champions in World Junior Chess Championship

The World Junior Chess Championship held in Russian city of Khanty Mansiysk ended with two Armenians holding victory in two out of three age groups. Armenian Hayk Martirosyan (age category - 16) and Manuel Petrosyan(18) took the title of champions. Hayk Petrosyan had earlier won the title of Champion of Europe.
