Summing up Armenian athletes' performances on the fifth Olympic day
Armenian athletes successfully started the fifth day at the Olympics, however, the day ended on a sad note.
Our boxers had already won the initial bouts, with Nazik Avdalyan later taking the fifth place in the list of the strongest contenders.
Sadly, Andranik Karapetyan (in the category of 77 kilograms) who was about to take a medal, suffered an injury as he performed his second approach to lift 195 kg bar.
