The economic activity index fell by 16.7% in April and by 12.8% in May. Deputy Prime Minister
According to RA Deputy Prime Minister Tigran Avinyan if we compare with April 2019, the index of economic activity in April 2020 has decreased by 16.7%. Compared to May, Armenia had a decline of 12.8%.
Avinyan expressed hope that the June data, which will be summarized on July 25, will not have a similar picture, different spheres will be restored.
"Our economy is also connected with the global economy", the Deputy Prime Minister noted, adding that sharp declines are taking place in the world.
