On October 7, a delegation from the municipal authorities of the French cities of Arnouville and Sarcelles visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial.
The cities have established partnership ties with towns in Armenia’s Kotayk Province. The five-member delegation was headed by Pascal Doll, President of the Roissy Pays de France agglomeration community.
The delegation was welcomed and accompanied during the visit by Hrachya Tashchyan, Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute. The guests from France laid a wreath at the memorial dedicated to the victims of the Armenian Genocide and then observed a minute of silence at the eternal flame in memory of the victims.
The delegation members then visited the Armenian Genocide Museum, where they viewed the permanent and temporary exhibitions.
At the end of the visit, Hrachya Tashchyan, Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, thanked the delegation members for their visit and presented delegation head Pascal Doll with a photo book of the Armenian Genocide Museum.
