A delegation led by Lumír Kantor, Chairman of the Social Policy Committee of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic, visited the Armenian Genocide Memorial today.
The delegation was accompanied by Nazeli Baghdasaryan, Chair of the Standing Committee on Labor and Social Affairs of the Armenian National Assembly, and Petr Pirunčík, Ambassador of the Czech Republic to Armenia.
Hrachya Tashchyan, Acting Director of the Armenian Genocide Museum-Institute, welcomed the delegation and accompanied them during the visit. At the beginning of the visit, he presented the history of the construction of the Armenian Genocide Memorial, its architectural features and significance.
