Ambassador Kvien attended official ceremony to hand over modern medical equipment to Spitak Polyclinic

US Ambassador to Armenia Kristina Kvien joined Deputy Minister of Health Armen Gasparyan and provincial leaders for a ribbon-cutting ceremony to mark the delivery of advanced medical equipment to the Spitak Polyclinic, US Embassy to Armenia reports. 

"This $130,000 project, funded through the U.S. Department of Defense’s Overseas Humanitarian, Disaster, and Civic Aid program, will provide specialized medical equipment for patients in Lori and Shirak provinces.  The project also creates a sensory room at the Spitak Rehabilitation Center to assist children with autism," the statement reads.
