The fifth meeting of the European Political Community will bring together leaders from across the continent in Budapest, Hungary.
The leaders will discuss Europe’s security challenges, including Russia’s war of aggression against Ukraine and the ongoing escalation in the Middle East, irregular migration and issues related to economic security and connectivity in terms of energy, transport, IT and global trade.
The EU is represented by the President of the European Council, Charles Michel.
This platform for political coordination does not replace any existing organisation, structure or process, nor does it aim to create new ones at this stage.
So far, the European Political Community has met four times.
The next European Political Community meeting will take place in Albania in spring 2025.
