According to Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry's Spokesman Aykhan Hajizada, "The focus on a smear campaign against Azerbaijan rather than Armenia-France relations by the French Ambassador to Armenia Olivier Decottignies is a primary result of the failure of French foreign policy."
The Spokesperson of the Azerbaijani Foreign Ministry stated as if "the French side distorts the realities and is not interested in sustainable and tangible peacebuilding in the region."
