Today, the Deputy Director of the National Security Service Armen Abazyan presented to the journalists the work carried out in the direction of foreign intelligence. He said that during the analytical work carried out over Azerbaijan, conversations of Arab militants taking part in the hostilities, personal data of a number of mercenaries stationed in the war zone by Turkey and Azerbaijan were recorded.

In Armenia, the NSS has uncovered a case of a former high-ranking military official, collecting facts for the enemy. "This high-ranking serviceman has collected various information, including secret information, from different military units in Armenia and passed it to the enemy", said the deputy director of the National Security Service.

According to Abazyan, in another case, foreign citizens obtained information on mobilization, equipment, transport, etc in Armenia. In both cases, a criminal case has been filed with the NSS, and investigation is underway.
