Compared to 2017, healthcare funding in Armenia is projected to increase by 319%, or approximately 4.2 times, in 2027. Compared to 2021, the increase stands at 117%, or 2.2 times. Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan stated this while presenting the 2027 draft state budget to the National Assembly, emphasizing that behind these figures are real people, lives and families.
“As a result of the first 10 months of this year, USD 320 million has been spent from the Armenian state budget on pensioners aged 65 and over. In total, 63,000 pensioners aged 65 and over have received healthcare services worth AMD 500,000 or more. This concerns health insurance.”
