Swearing-in Ceremony of Government members takes place

The swearing-in ceremony for members of the Government of the Republic of Armenia took place at the Presidential Residence in the presence of President Vahagn Khachaturyan.

National Assembly President Ruben Rubinyan, Constitutional Court President Arman Dilanyan, Supreme Judicial Council President Artur Atabekyan, and other high-ranking officials also attended the ceremony.

Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan was the first to read the text of the oath: "For the sake of the perpetuity, independence, sovereignty, and development of the Republic of Armenia, I swear to conscientiously fulfill the duties of a Government member, to uphold the Constitution and laws of the Republic of Armenia, to serve the public interest, to protect the state interest, to contribute to the strengthening of the statehood and constitutional order of the Republic of Armenia, and to act for the benefit of present and future generations."

Subsequently, all other members of the Government took the oath of office.

At the conclusion of the swearing-in ceremony, President Vahagn Khachaturyan congratulated the Prime Minister and the members of the Government, noting:

"Mr. Prime Minister, esteemed members of the Government,

I congratulate you on assuming this important and responsible mission of public administration.

The oath taken today is a high responsibility before the Republic of Armenia and our citizens. It is a pledge of loyalty to the state, the Constitution and the laws.

The position of a member of the government is a great honor, but also a heavy responsibility. The most important measure of your work is the result: solving the problems facing the country, improving people's lives and strengthening the state.

Armenia is facing serious challenges today. Overcoming them requires consistency, endurance and daily dedication. It is important to see the chances for a solution in every problem, to boldly look for new ways and new ideas.

The world and our region are changing rapidly. This reality requires new thinking, initiative and the ability to predict the future from Armenia and from all of us. The search for modern approaches, new opportunities and ways is one of the important conditions for the progress of our country.

Let the Constitution and the law, the primacy of the state interest, and a sense of responsibility toward the individual always form the foundation of your work. Ultimately, holding public office is a form of service to the state and the citizen.

I am confident that your experience and knowledge, as well as your hard work and dedication, will serve the development and strengthening of the Republic of Armenia.

I wish you strength, steadfastness, and success in this important mission.

Congratulations”․
