Ararat Mirzoyan and Constantinos Kombos discussed issues regarding deepening of bilateral partnership between Armenia and Cyprus

Armenia’s Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ararat Mirzoyan met with Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Cyprus Constantinos Kombos on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York.

The ministers discussed issues related to deepening bilateral partnership between Armenia and Cyprus, according to the ministry’s readout.

The importance of expanding cooperation in the high-tech and trade and economic sectors was emphasized. The ministers noted the growing momentum in tourism, which is also being facilitated by the establishment of resident embassies.

Views were exchanged on regional developments and cooperation in multilateral platforms.
