I hope that we will achieve de-escalation in Nagorno-Karabakh: Putin at meeting with Wang Yi
During the meeting with Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi, Russian President Vladimir Putin also referred to Azerbaijan's aggression against Nagorno-Karabakh and the situation there.
"The peacekeepers of the Russian Federation actively work with all parties involved in the Karabakh conflict, they do everything to protect the civilian population. I hope that we can achieve de-escalation in Karabakh and move the solution of the problem to a peaceful path. Russia is in close contact with all the conflicting parties in Karabakh, the authorities of Yerevan, Stepanakert and Baku," Putin said.
