The Deputy Minister of Education, Science, Culture and Sport of Armenia Alfred Kocharyan had a meeting with Mexico’s Deputy Minister of Culture Marina Núñez within the framework of the UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development.
Kocharyan and Núñez addressed the importance of intensifying cooperation in the area of culture, as well as exchange of experience in various directions. Issues of organizing cultural events, mutually promoting the two countries and developing cultural tourism were discussed. In this context the parties considered the possibility of signing a memorandum of understanding, the Armenian Ministry of Education, Science, Culture and Sport said in a press release.
