It is already for 2 years that Mary Papazian of Armenian origin heads the renowned Southern Connecticut State University. She is the only Armenian in that country at the moment, who heads an American educational establishment. She supports the Armenian community together with her husband – scientist and community figure Denis Papazian.
There are few Armenian students in the university; there are not many Armenians in the state. But they perfectly know about our country in Connecticut. One of the workers, for example, studies the development opportunity of Armenian rural regions by means of tourism.
