The Russian Ambassador to Israel visited the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem

On January 4, the Ambassador of the Russian Federation to Israel Anatoly Viktorov visited the Armenian Patriarchate of Jerusalem and met with the Armenian Patriarch of Jerusalem Archbishop Nourhan Manougian. "During the meeting, Mr. Viktorov conveyed to His Holiness the Patriarch the answer to the letter addressed to the President of the Russian Federation, Mr. Vladimir Putin, dated November 20, 2020, the content of which is as follows:

"On behalf of the President, I express my gratitude for your letter on the Nagorno Karabakh issue dated November 20, 2020.

I would like to inform you that your considerations in the letter have been taken into account.

I especially want to emphasize that the Russian leadership has a special control over the safe return of the displaced to their homes, the protection of cultural and religious monuments in the Nagorno-Karabakh region, as well as the issue of the status of this region when there will be enough conditions for that".
