UN considers the ongoing hostilities in Nagorno Karabakh inadmissible

Ongoing hostilities in Nagorno-Karabakh are unacceptable and must be stopped immediately. This was stated by the official representative of the UN Secretary General Stephane Dujarric, RIA Novosti reports.

Dujarric stressed that the UN strongly condemns the targeting of peaceful settlements. "We reiterate the Secretary-General's call on all parties to establish an immediate humanitarian ceasefire to which they have agreed and to fully fulfill their obligations to protect civilians and civilian infrastructure.

There can be no justification for such attacks. Continued hostilities are unacceptable and must be stopped immediately", Dujarric said.
