Armenia's Ambassador to Iran Grigor Hakobyan received Ara Shahverdian, head of the Iran-Armenia Parliamentary Friendship Group of the Iranian Parliament (Majlis), and its members Geghard Mansourian, Seyed Mohammad Saadat Ebrahimi and Seyed Mohammad Jamalian at the Armenian Embassy. The Embassy of Armenia in Iran reported.
During the meeting, the parties discussed cooperation between the legislative bodies of Armenia and Iran, as well as steps to further intensify contacts between the existing friendship groups.
Ambassador Grigor Hakobyan briefed the Iranian parliamentarians on the latest developments in bilateral relations with Iran and emphasized Armenia’s readiness to further deepen ties in an atmosphere of mutual respect and trust.
The meeting also addressed the unblocking of regional transport routes. In this context, the Armenian Ambassador briefed his interlocutors on the latest agreements reached and the key principles of the TRIPP route.
