“Our message today is clear: political friendship must translate into concrete opportunities for our businesses and peoples. Slovenia offers a favorable environment for international business. Our government is currently working to make our business environment more competitive, strategic and predictable.” Slovenian Minister of Foreign and European Affairs Tone Kajzer made the remarks during a joint press conference with Armenian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade Ararat Mirzoyan.
“Slovenia is at the crossroads of Central Europe. We previously discussed the importance of further expanding dialogue between Central Europe and Central Asia, particularly with Armenia, and in this context, Slovenia truly offers excellent transport and logistics connectivity,” she said.
Minister Kajzer emphasized the strategic importance of the Port of Koper, noting that it could become a logistics hub for Armenian companies seeking access to European markets.
According to him, Slovenia’s geographical location and developed transport infrastructure could also create new opportunities to expand trade and economic ties between Armenia and Slovenia, as well as facilitate Armenian businesses’ access to the EU single market.
