A number of regions that have come under Russian control have lost power due to 'external influence'

The Russian Ministry of Energy has reported that a portion of the population in Crimea, Donetsk, and Lugansk—as well as in the Kherson and Zaporozhye regions currently under Russian control—has been left without electricity.

According to the Ministry, this occurred due to "external impact" on energy infrastructure facilities in these areas.

The Ministry stated that efforts are underway, in coordination with local authorities and energy companies, to address the aftermath of the incident and restore the electricity supply.

Schedules for temporary power outages have been implemented in these regions. The Ministry did not specify when the restoration of electricity supply is expected.
