Reuters. Former US Vice President Kamala Harris said on Wednesday (October 14) Democrats would win a majority in the House of Representatives and had a "very good shot" at taking the Senate.
The former vice president has been campaigning for Democratic candidates ahead of the 2026 US midterm elections as she weighs another White House bid.
“We are facing a lot of obstacles but the Democrats are going to win... I believe certainly the House and I think we are within a very good shot. Each day presents a new reason to think that of winning the Senate as well,” Harris said during an appearance at South Korea's Asan Institute for Policy Studies in Seoul.
Asked whether she would again seek the presidency in 2028, Harris said she was still thinking about it and hadn’t decided yet.
