Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev and Pakistani Prime Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif have held a telephone conversation.
The two sides expressed satisfaction with the development of friendly and fraternal relations and the strategic partnership between Azerbaijan and Pakistan. They emphasized the role of regular high-level meetings and consultations in further strengthening bilateral ties.
Sharif noted that the people of Pakistan hold Ilham Aliyev and the people of Azerbaijan in high regard and esteem. The Pakistani prime minister expressed satisfaction with the operation of an Azerbaijani-style service center in Islamabad and asked Azerbaijan to provide support for implementing this model in other regions of Pakistan.
Aliyev agreed to provide the necessary support in this regard.
