Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia with aerial bombs, hitting a residential area. The regional military administration reported seven fatalities—including three children—and at least ten injuries. At least 14 people are trapped under the rubble.
Meanwhile, the Russian side reported that Ukrainian forces attacked Russian regions using more than 500 drones. In the Rostov region, a railway bridge and residential homes were damaged, and six people were injured. Train traffic was suspended but resumed in the morning. Governor Yuri Slyusar stated that over 100 drones were destroyed or suppressed in the region.
Media reports indicate that an oil terminal caught fire in the railway district of Rostov-on-Don. The facility reportedly facilitates the transport of petroleum products for export and is used to supply fuel to the Russian army.
