Volodymyr Zelenskiy and Emmanuel Macron discussed recent developments related to Ukraine. The presidents of Ukraine and France also addressed upcoming deliveries of defense equipment to Kyiv.
Zelenskiy stated that, in the near future, Ukrainian pilots will undergo training in France and work with Rafale fighter jets. The leaders also discussed the possibility of localizing the production of French missiles and aerial bombs in Ukraine.
Commenting on the Russian-Ukrainian conflict, the U.S. president said that strikes on Russia’s oil refineries have contributed to higher fuel prices. Donald Trump also asserted that the situation in the Strait of Hormuz is unrelated, noting that record volumes of oil are being transported from the region almost daily.
