Ukraine struck the Moscow region with unmanned aerial vehicles. Two people were killed and there are injured; according to media reports, a fire broke out at one of the region’s largest oil depots.
According to local authorities, air defense forces and electronic warfare systems destroyed 185 Ukrainian unmanned aerial vehicles in the skies over the Moscow region.
Later, the mayor of Moscow reported that 650 UAVs had been launched toward the capital overnight. Sergei Sobyanin said they had been successfully shot down. Operations at Moscow’s airports were restricted.
Russia’s Defense Ministry reported that more than 860 drones were destroyed in total in the skies over the Federation during the night.
Meanwhile, Russian forces struck Zaporizhzhia. One of the bridges crossing the Dnipro River was targeted - already the third in the past few days.
As a result of the strike, five people were injured. Traffic on the bridge was temporarily suspended. Residential buildings were also damaged, a fire broke out, and reports say there are injured people.
