Today, I received a delegation led by Mustafa Pustu, Chairman of the Board and General Director of the Turkish Electricity Transmission Corporation. Davit Khudatyan, Armenia's Minister of Territorial Administration and Infrastructure, wrote about this on his Facebook page.
"We addressed the work being carried out to restore and operationalize the Gyumri-Kars power transmission line within the framework of the Armenia-Turkey normalization process.
We emphasized the importance of interconnecting the electricity systems of Armenia and Turkey in the context of both bilateral and regional cooperation. A meeting also took place today between the delegation arriving from Turkey and the senior management of 'Electro-Energy System Operator of Armenia' CJSC and 'High Voltage Electric Networks' CJSC," the Minister wrote.
