On September 29, during the working visit to Croatia, Ambassador Ashot Hovakimian had a meeting with Irena Alajbeg, Director-General of the Directorate-General for Economic Affairs and Development Cooperation of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs of Croatia.
Ambassador Hovakimian presented the current dynamics of Armenia’s economic development and the steps being undertaken to diversify exports, highlighting the importance of the EU regulation granting autonomous trade measures to Armenia. The meeting also focused on opportunities and prospects for further deepening trade and economic cooperation between the two countries.
Ambassador Hovakimian also met with Silva Stipić Kobali, Director of the Business Internationalisation Centre at the Croatian Chamber of Economy (Hrvatska gospodarska komora – HGK). The meeting addressed opportunities to boost economic ties between Armenia and Croatia and further deepen business cooperation.
