Azerbaijani citizen Nasimi Rahim Oghli Musayev was remanded in custody for a period of two months as part of the criminal proceedings. The Investigative Committee told “Lurer” about this.
Earlier, the Investigative Committee had reported that a motion had been submitted to the court to apply detention as a preventive measure against Azerbaijani citizen Nasimi Rahim Oghli Musayev as part of the criminal proceedings.
It was also reported that on October 2, 2026, the prosecutor initiated public criminal prosecution against Azerbaijani citizen Nasimi Rahim Oghli Musayev under Part 1 of Article 469, Part 1 of Article 340, Part 1 of Article 335, Part 1 of Article 207, and Points 4 and 6 of Part 2 of Article 166 of the Criminal Code of the Republic of Armenia. The Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia reported this.
It is recalled that on October 1, 2026, at around 2:00 p.m., Azerbaijani citizen and serviceman Nasimi Musayev illegally entered a house at 20 Sixth Street in the Shaki settlement of the Sisian community in Syunik Province and, after being discovered, fired shots from a firearm.
As a result of the shooting, A. A., born in 1987, was injured.
The Azerbaijani citizen then fled the scene. As a result of measures taken, Nasimi Musayev was found at 26 Sixth Street in the Shaki settlement.
The Prosecutor’s Office had told 1lurer.am that another criminal proceeding had been initiated in connection with the incident recorded in Shaki.
