Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan sent a congratulatory message to the President of the Republic of Cyprus, Nikos Christodoulides, on the occasion of Independence Day, Government Press office reports.
The message reads:
"I extend my warm congratulations and sincere best wishes to you on the occasion of the national holiday of the Republic of Cyprus—Independence Day.
Armenia highly values its relations with Cyprus, which are based on strong friendship and mutual trust and continue to develop through mutually beneficial cooperation and the close ties existing between our peoples.
I reaffirm Armenia's readiness to further deepen and strengthen our cooperation through joint efforts, both in bilateral and multilateral formats and within the framework of the Armenia-European Union partnership.
At the same time, I wish to emphasize our readiness to elevate the level of our relations in areas of mutual interest, with the aim of shaping a new agenda for long-term and ambitious cooperation. I am confident that, through our joint commitment, we will achieve this goal and further expand bilateral cooperation for the well-being of our two countries and peoples.
