Gevorg Papoyan discussed prospects for development of tourism sector in Armenia with representatives of Armenian Tourism Federation

On September 28, Armenia's Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan received representatives of the Armenian Tourism Federation. This was reported by the Ministry of Economy.

At the beginning of the meeting, Gevorg Papoyan introduced Anushik Avetyan, the newly appointed Chairperson of the Tourism Committee of Armenia's Ministry of Economy.

The parties discussed issues related to enhancing Armenia’s tourism appeal and recognition in international markets, as well as the prospects for developing the tourism sector in Armenia, legislative regulations being implemented in the sector, and the full realization of the potential of inbound tourism.

Particular attention was paid to joint initiatives aimed at developing the sector and opportunities for deepening cooperation with the Federation.
