Davit Karapetyan and Comfort Ero discussed Implementation of TRIPP Project

On September 25, in New York, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly, Davit Karapetyan, Secretary General of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, met with Comfort Ero, President and CEO of the International Crisis Group. The Ministry reported this information.

Davit Karapetyan outlined the new realities and opportunities emerging in the South Caucasus following the establishment of peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan, as well as the steps Armenia is taking to further consolidate and institutionalize that peace.

Discussions also touched upon the unblocking of regional communications and the progress of the TRIPP project. The interlocutors also exchanged views on regional and international developments, emphasizing that diplomacy and negotiations are the only path to achieving long-term and sustainable peace.

Davit Karapetyan and Comfort Ero also discussed opportunities for cooperation within the framework of the Yerevan Dialogue annual international conference.
