Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Nepal discussed opportunities for developing relations between two countries

On September 25, on the sidelines of the 81st session of the UN General Assembly in New York, Ararat Mirzoyan, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Armenia, met with Shishir Khanal, the Minister of Foreign Affairs of Nepal. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Armenia reported this information.

The interlocutors discussed opportunities for developing bilateral relations between Armenia and Nepal. Particular emphasis was placed on fostering business ties in the fields of climate, renewable energy, information technology, and artificial intelligence.

The ministers exchanged views on cooperation within multilateral platforms, including in the context of the upcoming 17th Conference of the Parties to the UN Convention on Biological Diversity, to be held in Yerevan.
