'We have all ingredients for a deal,' says Witkoff on Armenia-Azerbaijan peace agreement

The United States Special Envoy to the Middle East Steve Witkoff spoke about the peace deal between Azerbaijan and Armenia on Wednesday.

"I would say unlike many of the conflicts that we see in the world, we had all the ingredients of a deal here," Witkoff said.

"We had leaders on each side from Armenia and from Azerbaijan, who were incredibly pragmatic and mature and realise that a peace deal was a better solution for a long term conflict than than the alternative. And then, most importantly, we had President Trump with his overarching support of this."
