Meeting held between Armenian Prime Minister and Iranian President in New York

A meeting took place between the Prime Minister of the Republic of Armenia, Nikol Pashinyan, and the President of Iran, Masoud Pezeshkian, on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly, Armenian Government Press office reports.

Prime Minister Pashinyan noted with satisfaction that cooperation between Armenia and Iran is developing successfully and that joint projects are being implemented across various sectors.

Nikol Pashinyan and Masoud Pezeshkian discussed bilateral trade and economic relations, as well as steps aimed at their expansion.

The parties emphasized the importance of ensuring peace and stability in the region. Other issues of mutual interest were also discussed.
