Canada's newly appointed ambassador presented a copy of her credentials to Deputy Foreign Minister of Armenia

On September 22, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Trade of the Republic of Armenia Vahan Kostanyan received the newly appointed Ambassador of Canada to Armenia Julie Crowley, on the occasion of the presentation of copies of her credentials.

The Deputy Minister congratulated Ambassador Crowley on the commencement of his diplomatic mission, expressing confidence that the newly appointed Ambassador would make a significant contribution to the continued expansion of the effective cooperation between the two countries.

The interlocutors discussed ongoing work in the areas of cooperation identified following the bilateral political consultations held in Ottawa in July of this year, as well as reaffirmed the importance of further strengthening of trade and economic relations between the two countries.

The parties also touched upon international developments.
