We had a very productive meeting today with mediators of Iran: Trump

U.S. President Donald Trump on Tuesday (September 22) said special envoys Steve Witkoff and Jared Kushner had met with mediators on a possible deal to end the Iran conflict, Reuters reports.

"Steve (Witkoff) and Jared (Kushner) had a very productive meeting today with mediators of Iran. Merely mediators. Let's see what happens with that. They've been mediated for a while, but I think there's a lot of momentum for them to make a deal. That's what we're hearing from everybody.

A big portion of what we've done, maybe 99% of it, is to make sure that Iran doesn't have a nuclear weapon, though sites have been blown up. We may have to blow up another one. Pickaxe mountain. That's, we're not seeing a lot of activity there, but if we do, we'll blow it up immediately," Trump stated.
