Erdogan Backs Armenia-Azerbaijan Peace and Normalization
Ankara’s position on the South Caucasus is clear, the Turkish president stated on the sidelines of the UN General Assembly.
Recep Tayyip Erdogan expressed hope that long-term peace would be established between Armenia and Azerbaijan.
“We welcome Prime Minister Pashinyan’s and President Aliyev’s commitment to normalization,” Erdogan added.
He also stressed that Armenia and Turkey are likewise making progress in the process of normalizing bilateral relations.
