Commemoration ceremony for 111th anniversary of Armenian Genocide at Armenian cross-stone installed in courtyard of Almudena Cathedral in Madrid

A commemoration ceremony marking the 111th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide was held next to the Armenian khachkar (cross-stone) installed in the courtyard of the Almudena Cathedral in Madrid, the capital of Spain.

The Embassy of the Republic of Armenia in Spain reported that a prayer service invoking the Holy Martyrs’ intercession was also held.

Ambassador of the Republic of Armenia to Spain, Sos Avetisyan, delivered a speech.
