Netanyahu confirms Israel killed Iran's security chief

Reuters. Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu confirmed Israel's killing of Iran's security chief Ali Larijani, along with Gholamreza Soleimani who led the volunteer Basij militia, which plays a major role in domestic security.

In a pre-recorded statement released on Tuesday (March 17), Netanyahu said Israel has "Many more surprises," in its campaign of weakening the Iranian regime, that is 'spreading terror' in Tehran.

As the regional conflict rages on in its third week, there was no let-up in attacks by both sides early on Tuesday, with Iran launching missiles on Israel overnight and during the day, underscoring that Tehran retains the capacity to carry out long-range strikes despite more than two weeks of pounding by U.S. and Israeli weapons.
