Simonyan, Lavrov discuss Armenia-Russia cooperation in the EAEU, CIS and on other international platforms

On February 5, the RA NA President Alen Simonyan, being on an official visit to the Russian Federation, met with the RF Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov, Armenian Parliament Press office reports.

The interlocutors discussed a wide scope of issues regarding the bilateral interests. The sides exchanged ideas on cooperation in the EAEU, CIS and on other international platforms. Among other issues, a separate reference was made to the changes in the migration rules made in the Russian legislation referring to foreign citizens, in particular, to the problems that arose for Armenian drivers carrying out cargo transportation to Russia as a consequence of them, and the steps taken to resolve them.

Reference was also made to other issues concerning the regional developments.
