Trump discussed with members of Congress possibility of tightening sanctions against Russia
On January 5, US President Donald Trump announced that he had discussed with members of the United States Congress the tightening of sanctions against the Russian Federation.
"We discuss this all the time," he said during a conversation with reporters aboard his plane en route to Washington from West Palm Beach, Florida.
On November 17, Russian presidential spokesman Dmitry Peskov said that Moscow would react extremely negatively to the passage of the bill in the United States.
At the same time, the US President reiterated his position that he would not set any deadlines for resolving the Ukrainian crisis.
