Key outcome of visit is development of our relations to strategic partnership: Prime Minister in Kazakhstan

The developments taking place in the region are opening new opportunities for the economic development of Armenia and Kazakhstan, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan said during a meeting with Kazakhstan’s President Kassym-Jomart Tokayev in Astana.

“The developments taking place in the region are opening new opportunities to deepen economic relations. Today, our partners in the intergovernmental commission are receiving an important and new agenda. I am confident that active work will be carried out around this agenda. In the near future, we will see an intensification of business ties, including meetings and forums. We also plan to give new momentum to investment activity,” said Prime Minister Pashinyan.

The Prime Minister emphasized that the key outcome of his visit to Astana is the development of Armenia-Kazakhstan relations toward a strategic partnership.

“On this basis, we will give new momentum to the further development of our relations in all directions—enhancing political dialogue, deepening economic cooperation, and, of course, introducing new dimensions to our collaboration in the humanitarian sphere,” said Prime Minister Pashinyan.

PM Nikol Pashinyan also highlighted that naming one of Astana’s streets after Mesrop Mashtots is seen as a gesture of respect toward the Armenian people and Armenia.
