Mass protests against local elections continue in Tbilisi. Voting has not yet ended, protesters have completely blocked Rustaveli Avenue and the adjacent Freedom Square.
Protesters stormed the Georgian presidential residence. Law enforcement officers used water cannons and tear gas against them.
Later, Georgian special forces were able to remove the protesters from the presidential residence and blockade it.
