The Russian Defense Ministry reported that it had carried out a massive strike on Ukrainian military-industrial complex enterprises and energy infrastructure facilities.
According to the Ministry, the strikes achieved their goal: all targets were hit.
Ukrainian authorities also reported that the targets of the strike included, in particular, the Kharkiv, Poltava, Dnepropetrovsk, Cherkasy, Nikolaev and Sumy regions. Due to an emergency power outage in Poltava, public transport in the city center was disrupted. Some city schools switched to online learning.
