The US attacks on Iran violate UN charter and international law, said China's permanent representative to the UN, Fu Cong.
"The actions of the United States seriously violate the purposes and principles of the UN Charter and international law, as well as Iran’s sovereignty, security, and territorial integrity," Fu said in his remarks at the UN Security Council emergency meeting.
The Chinese diplomat added that China calls for an immediate ceasefire after the US strikes on Iran's nuclear facilities.
