There is nothing in point 9 of the trilateral statement of November 9 that implies that the territorial integrity, sovereignty, and jurisdiction of Armenia should be undermined in any way. There is nothing that states that a third force should have a presence on the territory of our country. A clear principle of reciprocity is recorded there. Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan said this during a briefing with journalists in the National Assembly.
Referring to the talk of establishing control over the road to be provided by a third force, Pashinyan clarified: “Control of what and control of where? It is very important to get the answer to that question. We have given an answer to that question and said that in our perception it can be a monitoring function, which can be carried out from Moscow via satellite communication, via satellite instruments.”
Pashinyan once again reaffirmed that Armenia’s territorial integrity, sovereignty, and jurisdiction are not and cannot be subject to any doubt, they cannot be put into question.
“Those who say that Armenia has undertaken such a commitment are simply not telling the truth,” he said.
