Russia's war against Ukraine has killed about 13,000 civilians and up to 100,000 Ukrainian soldiers.
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky spoke about this in an interview with CBS News.
"Russia strikes Ukrainian cities every day. 1,700 attacks on schools, 600 children killed. Attacks on 780 hospitals and clinics. 13,000 civilians killed. And up to 100,000 dead Ukrainian soldiers - all for the sake of Vladimir Putin's vanity war to expand Russia to NATO's doorstep. Our people have paid the highest price possible," Zelensky said.
Earlier this year, Zelensky told NBC News that more than 46,000 Ukrainian soldiers had died.
"We have 46,000 dead soldiers, tens of thousands are missing or in captivity," the Ukrainian President said.
