On April 11, Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov met with Turkish Foreign Minister Hakan Fidan as part of his participation in the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, Azerbaijan's MFA reports.
The meeting discussed political, security, economic, transport-communications, humanitarian issues, cooperation within regional and international organizations, as well as security issues of mutual interest on the agenda of the Azerbaijan-Türkiye alliance.
It was noted that the Antalya Diplomacy Forum, which has been organized for the 4th time, has become one of the important platforms for discussing current issues in the system of international relations.
In particular, the importance of negotiations and diplomacy in ending the security problems and instability observed at the regional and international levels was emphasized.
It was noted with satisfaction that the Azerbaijan-Türkiye alliance based on brotherhood is successfully continuing at all levels and platforms.
The exceptional role of the dialogue at the highest level between the leaders of both countries in further expanding relations was emphasized.
The importance of further strengthening cooperation within regional and international organizations, especially the Organization of Turkic States, was highlighted.
Minister Jeyhun Bayramov also informed the other party in detail about the current situation in the region during the post-conflict period, the large-scale reconstruction and construction work carried out in the liberated territories, efforts to combat the mine threat, as well as the Azerbaijan-Armenia normalization process and existing obstacles.
During the meeting, views were also exchanged on other issues of mutual interest.
