On April 11, Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan met with Romanian Foreign Minister Emil Hurezeanu. Armenia's Foreign Ministry reported this.
The meeting took place within the framework of the Antalya Diplomacy Forum. The interlocutors discussed the work aimed at expanding cooperation between Armenia and Romania, which contributes to the active dynamics of political dialogue and high-level mutual visits.
Ararat Mirzoyan and Emil Hurezeanu noted with satisfaction the achievements recorded in the deepening of the Armenia-EU Partnership and exchanged views on the steps and prospects taken towards establishing a new, more ambitious Armenia-EU agenda.
Minister Mirzoyan emphasized the importance of inclusiveness of regional programs, as they can contribute not only to economic development in the South Caucasus, but also to the expansion of the region’s and the wider neighborhood’s connectivity, and consequently to the strengthening of stability.
In this context, the issues of unblocking regional channels, Armenian Government’s Crossroads of Peace project, as well as its importance as part of a broader logistical network, were also discussed.
The Foreign Ministers of Armenia and Romania touched upon issues of cooperation in multilateral formats.
